Gold tier food! The menu items are all very unique and delicious! The cocktails were also unique and had some flavors I had never tried before. Definitely worth a stop by. The only thing is they were out of a number of things on their menu without marking it.

It was all of our 1st time as this place was highly recommended so we thought to give it a try for one of our GEMS monthly birthday celebrations! We were so impressed!!! We brought our own Birthday cake which they stowed in fridge and helped set it up after our meals! They even blessed us with 2 of their delicious Ube desserts (sorry forgot what’s it called). Service by Mikey was on point, food was tasty and delicious!!! Jus be careful when ordering to read the ingredient details because food is SPICY but they’re willing to work with you to make sure your palate, I mean your tongue hasn’t disappeared coz i couldn’t feel mines until pandan coconut ricecame to the rescue!! We ordered the Wok Fried Mussels Hands down!!!! The lollipop chicken, Yeo’s chicken salad, Wok Fried Rice noodles, Laksa soup, Lemongrass Beef, and more!!! The ambiance is spot on and overall experience was nothing short of amazing!!! Thank you so much Straits for making our Birthday celebrations a memorable one!! We’ll be back!

Great selection of delicious Singaporean and Malaysian food. We ordered a bunch of dishes (See pics and videos below) and everything pretty much hits. They also have a great selection of cocktails, spirits and NA beverages. Atmosphere, it was quite dark. I think the place turns into a club after. But otherwise before dark, it's family friendly. A little hard to hear people cux of the music but okay overall. Great place for a date or a group dinner.

They serve the best Calamari on the island! But my fav is Butter Chicken Katsu. The Hainan Chicken was just alright tho. Had both dinner and lunch here w/o reservation, no waiting time. And the vibe and music are chill and the servers are so friendly.

Straits is a wonderful addition to ward village and I'm so glad they finally open! Much anticipated, their food did not disappoint. The winners were the char kway teow and the chicken rice which were both flavorful, fragrant and to die for! I've been here many times since their grand opening and will keep going back bc the food is so good. Aside from the good food, our servers were always attentive, informative and even though the restaurant was packed, they always come by to ask if we're doing ok or to check if our glasses need to be filled. The GM/partner Pomaikai is very personable, helpful and kind. This is a really trendy spot to celebrate special occasions like birthdays, engagement parties etc but also great for dinner. The music can be a little loud and overbearing at times but I also understand that alcohol is a huge money maker and I tolerate this chiefly because I want Straits to flourish and also because everything else is great. Online reservations are recommended because this is a very popular place and walk ins might be not be able to get an open table. As a person who's been to Singapore many times and who has traveled the world in search of good food, I confess that I am a huge fan! I love the food / decor/ service here and I'm grateful to be able to enjoy good Singaporean food in Honolulu! Thank you Straits!

In the heart of the Waikiki shopping center, this restaurant offers pan Asian cuisine with great flavors! The staff was very nice and welcoming and the restaurant was clean from what saw. We ordered the Beef Rendang, garlic noodles, dry fried eggplant, Hainanese chicken, coconut pandan soda, and the milk and honey cocktail. Everything was delicious! Can’t wait to go back!

We love it here for date night. It wasn't your typical busy night this last time which was nice. The food never disappoints. Got our usual lemongrass steak, calamari and Roti Prata!!! Oh and tried out the ube brulee :) i could eat the steak everyday

My work mom and I came across this cute place while we were walking around the area trying to figure out what to eat for dinner. It was definitely on the pricey side; however, our server was so nice, helpful, and was very informative with the menu since my work mom had an allergy to shellfish. The service he gave was top notch and gave us updates and information on which food had cross-contamination with shellfish. When it came to our food, we ordered quite a bit— calamari, fried kabocha (this was SO delicious, I highly recommend this), the sashimi plate, steak, as well as the spicy tuna and salmon roll. Everything on the menu was delicious— the only reason why I gave it 4 stars was because I was a little disappointed with the spicy tuna and salmon rolls. The rice was had a little too much vinegar for my liking, but other than that we both enjoyed our meals.
